The Global Coalition for Animal Welfare (GCAW) is the only global coalition dedicated to farm animal welfare run by and for the industry. GCAW is about to unveil an updated strategy and a three-year roadmap. To help us deliver meaningful outcomes, we are looking for energetic industry peers who share our commitment to overcoming structural barriers and accelerating progress toward higher animal welfare globally. The new membership application window opens October 2025.
GCAW brings the food industry together to drive real change – working pre-competitively on practical solutions that improve farm animal welfare throughout global supply chains. Members benefit from peer learning, shared tools and research, and a trusted forum to share challenges and accelerate implementation.
Who should apply? We want to hear from food retailers as well as food producers and foodservice companies across all regions.
Time commitment: Four all-member meetings per year (one in-person) plus participation in selected working groups.
